14 Months Post!

Because going last month without posting a 13 month post was very difficult, I just knew I had to post to celebrate Gabe's 14 months of life!

Today!

14 things you might not know about Gabe
  1. He loves banana's! And yells at you if you don't give him one for breakfast!
  2. Knows the words Da-da and ball (baw).
  3. Gabe knows that we love to hear him say Da-da and ball so he holds out on us!
  4. Loves playing in his big boy bed but still doesn't think it's a fun place to sleep.
  5. Wears a left AFO (ankle foot orthotic), left thumb brace, right arm restraint splint, left arm splint and a left hand splint to wear at night.
  6. Yells at his Daddy if he doesn't immediately pick him up when he comes home from work.
  7. Has an affinity for getting pasta sauce behind his ears, in his hair and everywhere in between [SMILE]
  8. Drinks milk from his sippy cup now and usually only has 1 bottle a day!
  9. the older he gets the more he despises his eye patches... and the faster he can take them off!
  10. At 14 months wears mostly 18 - 24 month clothes and wears size 4 shoes! Unless he has his AFO on, then he measures at size 7! Wowser!
  11. Loves to stand on the couch and look out the window.
  12. Gabe is so super ticklish; any light touch on his belly or chubby legs leads to lots of giggles.
  13. Loves going to therapy now and gets so excited when we get there... and stays happy as long as no one touches him :)
  14. At 14 months already has his Mama, Daddy and just about everyone else wrapped tightly around his little finger. (you may already know this, but we're not sure Gabe does quite yet!)

Also, because I forgot to post this when Gabe turned one I figured you would want to know his 'stats'. (And I need to put them here so I never forget!)

At 1 year old, Gabe's
  • weight: 25lbs 10oz (70th percentile)
  • length: 33 1/2 inches (90th percentile)
  • head circumfrence: I don't remember but it was in the 50th percentile)
With stats like that I wonder why people ask us if we feed him enough? [SMILE]
