Eye Update

Did you know that Gabe went to his first eye doctor appointment when he was only 16 days old!  I didn't even think to take pictures of his first couple of visits.  But for the first year or so of his life he saw Dr. R every 6 - 8 weeks.  Then it went to 8 - 10 weeks.  And now Gabe has an eye appointment every 3 months.  So every 3 months we return to Cleveland to visit Dr. R at the Cole Eye Institute.  I will forever sing Dr. R and the Cole Eye Institutes praises.

A look back in pictures:

March 2012:

I for one, can not believe how much Gabe has grown.  He used to be such a peanut in the exam chair and now he just looks like a little man.  I can't help but smile at his mustache t-shirt and train fisted hand!

On to the good news!  Gabe's eye's look great in his new glasses and he is seeing quite well.  Well enough that he recognized letters on the screen across the room and point to the matching letter on the board in front of him.  Score!  Score number two; he pointed with his left hand.

He's a champ, this little man of ours.  Plain and simple.
